>>43121863If you decide to play Pokemon Crystal, play with Stadium 2. It's an expansion pack that really enhances and changes the experience so much, and it's something the remakes lack entirely.
While I do think HGSS are not only great remakes and some of the best Pokemon games period, I wouldn't call it a definitive replacement, because there's a lot of stuff that didn't get carried over to HGSS. It's not major stuff, but it's enough to make the originals stand out on their own.
