I played Moon when it came out and I honestly don't remember much of it other than the overabundance of cutscenes, my character's autism smile and a few pokemon I liked. I've been playing a lot of Pokemon recently though and I saw some of the pokemon included in Gen 7 and got interested. The ultra beasts and their dimensions look interesting too. Are these games much of an improvement over the originals? Are they worth trying out?

>Had all the Pokémon
>Introduced regional variants
>Gave us actual boss battles in the form of totem fights and Necrozma
>Upped the difficulty by giving NPC’s EV trained mons
>Had the courage to break out of the 8 gyms + E4 formula (even if it wasn’t necessarily for the best)

hey /vp/, I'm jumping back into Pokemon with my last game being White. I have LeafGreen, FireRed, Emerald, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and White - recently got UltraSun and have a bunch of questions.

With Pokebank being a thing, should I migrate ALL my pokemon from earlier games to UltraSun? Any reason to leave any behind? And does Pokebank keep Pokerus on affected mons?

Am I missing out by skipping X/Y and ORAS?

Is there anything that's easier (IE breeding, training) in past games that would make me want to keep a save file?

Is there any way to bring items between generations?
