I beat Red! It was a pretty good battle.
>Pikachu>Despite Charm, Sandy took it out with an Earthquake>Venusaur>Switched to Corona Chan for an anticipated grass attack, but it went for Solarbeam. I used Fly to avoid damage and finished it with Wing Attack>Espeon>Swtiched to Fat Bastard and immediately took a crit leaving it with about a quarter of his health. Fine, a Hyper Potion. Psychic still did a shitload but two Shadow Balls dealt with it>Snorlax>I thought Fat Bastard was tanky enough to take a hit to try for paralysis with Body Slam, but it died to Red's own Body Slam. Bad move on my part. Swtiched into Sandy and chanced a Dynamicpunch (which worked, surprisingly). It used Rest but fortunately three Earthquakes was enough.>Blastoise>Switched to Karpe Diem to take a Surf and return with a Hyper Beam, which did like a third of its health. Realizing that was not worth it, I finished it with Strength>Charizard>Used Surf and brought it down to KO range, but I switched to Del Fuego to give it the last hit. Totodile has and probably always will be my favorite Johto starter but Typhlosion has been so amazing and reliable throughout the whole game that I decided to let it take out the final Pokemon of the game. With a ThunderPunch, it was all over.>Didn't use Kadabra once>Rules say I can't use it anymoreFuck.
On a more serious note this was definitely a rollercoaster. Was pretty worried after getting nearly wiped at the League but I'm proud I brought the run back. Next up is Silver, which will take longer because I won't be emulating.
>>43322583Kangaskhan? Nice catch! Also nicknames are high tier.
>>43321165Yeah I ain't smart enough for this, I only know two mons because I scrolled up the thread a bit, and Boxed and Dead are pretty clear.
>>43322282I wouldn't blame you considering how hard you got fucked. For me it would depend on how much grinding you have to do and what you have left to capture. Never played so idk.
