Shorter development cycles simply mean less time to create good ideas, less time to implement those ideas, and less time to refine those ideas
That, and I'd probably see about reimplementing some of the smaller, but generally well-liked one-off features: following Pokemon, ball capsules, seasons, PSS, bottle caps, etc.
