>>54441607It wasn't until I watched the Alola gang's reunion in Journeys that I just kind of clicked onto the idea that SM might've edged out AG as my favorite series. It was a short, kind of rushed, one episode cameo, but all the vibes and memories of it rushed back in. Episode-by-episode, I think it's consistently one of the best outings Pokemon's had. If people can't get into the art style, or they were burned by the XY ending and just dislike SM based on the tonal shift, I get it. 100%, I get it. But I also think it's up there with DP as one of the best put-together series.
