>>13876207I am this poster. I was able to test this with another game and I can confirm this works. This goes for all 3DS downloadable games. If you input a new DS card, you can redownload the game off of Nintendo's servers and start a new file. Then, you can put in the original SD card, and continue the first save file.
So for the cost of 2GB of space on an SD card, you can have ANOTHER Pokemon save file.
