So this is where the series turned to complete ass. After jumping from gen 3 to gen 8 I wondered at what point the game turned into an actually unbearable anime visual novel that holds your hand every fucking step of the way force feeding you this retarded cast of friends like it's a two-bit Shin Megami Tensei wannabe for children and now I know. An hour into this game and I think I've managed to walk 15 feet as my record before triggering a cutscene. I fell for the meme and played this because of all the braindead Zoomers saying it's the best Pokémon game. Should have taken the hint from the embarrassing starter designs and just turned it off.
