Due to the difference in climate of the Galar region, Salazzle, who need heated regions to survive, cannot be easily found. As such, the alpha male of Salandits evolve into Salastic in order to keep their tribe safe.
Salastics spend their lives trying to find a Salazzle to mate with and are capable of smelling pheremones across the region. They are known to mistake certain curry smells for the smell of a Salazzle.
