it makes me sad how one-note/oversaturated the regis became as memes cause they're my favourite mons. sure, it was funny hearing regirock go oomp oomp or regigigas having a fucking meltdown the first few times, but i've seen the same clips from the lucario and hoopa movies so many times now it feels forced. i appreciate the attention they get but it's a real double-edged sword. i've seen regithread after regithread of the same images passed around including my own art, and i don't blame the bad rep they're getting. absurd shit like pic related however is what i love to see, just not the same stuff over and over that makes me go "mhm, yep..."
