Add to that human characters, locations etc. To be frank, I have not started up non-artistic development again since switching to polished as the rombase, and even before that it was meager. I'm not surprised at which pace it's been going. I'm learning a lot of new things.
And regarding the "making it its own thing" suggestion, it's kinda motivating to see that sentiment echoed from another person haha, and I will think it over. I guess aside from being able to sell it it would also allow more freedom in the execution. Can't hurt to give it a try.
