hah fuck, that was a really good run. Got to use all types of Pokémon i'd never used before (especially Mienshao, Ferrothorn, and Leavanny), with plenty of deaths and hardship and struggle, and even threw in a bunch of improv writing practice as well. Made it all the way to the end before fate dealt me a bad hand and my three main chips against the elite 4 went down like nothing in the first 20 minutes of my first matches.
Honestly, by the time I got to Marshall and my only remaining team members were both super weak to Fighting, I knew the show was over. Even moreso when that Chandelure came out and immediately Fire Blasted Mistletoe to death. Shouldn't've been so cocky in assuming it'd miss.
Anyways, I have plenty of story plans for the sequel. I don't know when I'll get around to playing it- I have a long weekend coming up, but I want a day's break, so I'll probably start on Sunday instead of tomorrow. Not sure if i'll use a starter that time or not, but I know I'll be instating dupes clause lol.
