Ever since Gen I and this motherfucker, I've always loved Psychic-type mons. I know that Psychic was OP as shit back then, and both Steel and Dark were made in part to deal with it (along with fixing Psychic's immunity to Ghost and making good bug moves like Megahorn). But whenever I think about this series, I always remember just how much ass this guy destroyed for me.
He's among the glassiest of glass cannons, sure, but no one likes taking a BP 135 Psychic attack in the face with 369 SpAtk to back it up. And that's before he mega-evolves.
