There was a lot of cool shit that got set up in this episode. Besides Croagunk and Toxicroak's inevitable face off, Pikachu and Electabuzz's off-hand comraderie, and the Team Galactic intro for real, there's also the underlying tension in Dawn's confidence, shown by her lying to Ash about making a new combination with Piplup. I remember as a teenager first playing Diamond, I wondered why Team Galactic was able to have a whole ass corporate office in Veilstone when they were evil. It was only during BDSP that I got the nuance that they were a bit more subtle than Team Aqua and Magma, and didn't run around doing evil shit, but instead put up a front of legitimacy. XY's take on Lysandre was really cool, so I'm hoping to see the same for Cyrus.
