>>53875121It´s usually a type they reserve for late game battles like how they treat with dragon, though honestly, we really should´ve had one in Sword & Shield, Steel fits Motostoke way better than fire, it´s even implied that was the city Peony had his gym in before he retired, but no, they wanted to do their dumb generic back-back grass-fire-water trio again and make Rose a type specialist for some reason. It´s honestly wild we haven´t gotten a new steel gym to take in almost 17 years. Steel, Dark, Ground rarely ever get gyms for some reason, but we get grass, electric, ice, and water gyms in almost every single region together.
