So i've been thinking, if that happens to be the case i'll buy the games but then when i get to the sinnoh remakes i'll just finish the game and then i will just retire and never play pokemon again, for me the sinnoh remakes would close the cycle my good old infernape returns home as a complete champ having seen all the other regions even if gen 9 comes out i just wouldn't care anymore without a national dex there is no point to keep going, all my pokemon just live the rest of their lives in sinnoh
