The Timburr and Roggenrola lines are some of my favourites from Gen 5, and I caught neither. And boy did I suffer for that, Lenora is surprisingly tough without a rock or fighting type.
Tried to rely on Evil Eye, my own Watchog, with hypnosis & rock smash instead. Worked well for Herdier, but it all fell apart when I missed my hypnosis while Lenora's Watchog hit hers. Won in the end thanks to leech seed but I lost both Evil Eye and Loveheart the Woobat, I swear that bitch Watchog had an aimbot with how it hit hypnosis every time. It's been a really poor start to the run.
Wasn't planning to add Pidove to the team, but I had to rely on Repose for a little bit afterwards. Normally I'd be happy about a Cottonee encounter in Pinwheel, but another pure grass is the last thing I could use right now. Luckily we also encountered King Louie the Darumaka on route 4, so between him and Repose Burgh was no issue. Just beat Bianca and Cheren so now that we have a few routes opened it's time to finally get a full team.
>>54668351Don't forget the Castelia Park encounter when you get there. If you don't mind using cheese you can guarantee an Eevee as your first encounter there by having a level 19 pokemon in front and using a repel.
>>54666271>Sometimes it's hard to make something consistent/fresh every time, but I do tryKeep it up man! And Volkner is a bit of a joke in all games, huh?
>>54666223My first ever nuzlocke ended just in front of Nugget bridge.
>>54665910Spore is a must I think
>>54664214Emerald has some really tough gym leaders from Wattson onward.
>>54663995I'd continue if I am far enough in the game that restarting is more inconvenient and have enough good mons in the box for it.
