Pluck was great in Totem battles, Razor Leaf's crit rate and double battle utility was awesome, and I even got to teach it Shadow Claw just before I left for Ula'ula. It evolved as it was crushing the Electric trial at the observatory, turning into Decidueye after beating Charjabug and helping to defeat Totem Vikavolt for its first battle in its final form. I had feared that my favored starter would be Meganium levels of passive and difficult, but I was pleasantly surprised and it remained my ace.
