Honestly, even if you like current Pokemon games, which even I do, do you really think GameFreak is a good studio?
You look around at other JRPGs in terms of visuals, mechanical depth, music, story, designs, and just general direction, and Pokémon can't even begin to stack up.
I really wish Nintendo would buy out the rest of the Pokemon Company so that GameFreak didn't have a monopoly on the franchise anymore.
