Anyway, update time. Got some catches, lost Thralmik the Bronzor to the Young Couple in Lost Tower, and downloaded the Secret Key in order to take advantage of the Rotom forms. Just beat Maylene, as well.

2KO Machoke with Air Slash, but take damage from Rock Tomb
>LucarioHit it with Confuse Ray as Lucario misses Metal Claw
Get hit by Metal Claw while hitting back with Air Slash
Switch out to Preodnia the Scyther while taking another Metal Claw
Trade Metal Claw for Wing Attack and Lucario gets the attack boost
Switch back in to Tormey to try and confuse it again while Lucario hits with Metal Claw
Metal Claw misses and I get the Confuse Ray off
Lucario never succumbs to confusion in the battle
Metal Claw crits and kills Tormey while gaining another attack boost
Switch Philomena back in and hit Lucario into the red with Wing Attack before it kills her with Metal Claw and gets another attack boost
At this point, I can only pray that Maylene doesn't heal and send Cidal in to finish the fight with Mach Punch
My prayer is answered and I win the fight
What a rough finish to that fight.
