Quick question regarding some Stella dialogue. I also tweeked it a bit.
Encounter:
> Welcome to the Dronia Gym! I am-
> Hm? Wait, You call yourself a trainer?!
> 'The heck are you sweatin' for?!
> I've been movin' red-hot liquid metal all day, hammerin' it into shape.
> All without so much as a bead of sweat!
> Your sweatin' from just a bit of steam...
> Looks like I'm gonna have to hammer you into shape.
> My shift starts soon so let's get this over with!
Defeat:
> You're tougher than you look kid!
Post battle:
> Man, the guys are gonna rib me so bad for losing to a kid...
> I bet you really rang their bells though!
> Here, your reward!
(Badge dialogue)
> I've got something else as well. You earned it!
(TM dialogue)
> ... Sorry for chewing you out earlier.
> It's just so frustrating seeing kids so out of shape!
> I became a Gym Leader because I feel like everyone has the potential to excel at what they do.
> Whether it's bettering their body, mind, or spirit.
> That's why I put trainers and my workers through the wringer. I know they can take it!
So, she's supposed to be a bit drill-sargent-y to people who give up or appear out of shape/not doing their best (sometimes forgetting she's a above average, like when the player meets her), but motivational to those who are trying.
If what I did already didn't show that, I was thinking of adding one more line at the end, to make it sound like she's being supportive of you. Something like:
> And I know you can take it to! Don't ever quit!!
Or
> Your will must burn like molten metal and your resolve must be like steel!
