>>52710826Same. Now that the initial reveal is wearing off, the concept of a timeskip and Ash having a daughter is becoming less believable from any reasonable standpoint to me. The amount of time and effort required for redesigning every major previous character in case of wanting a return, essentially making several regional professors either ancient or fucking dead (I'm looking at you, Oak and Rowan), and so forth... and then cutting off any possibility of going back to Ash if the new show totally flops... I don't see it. Placing bets on there actually being no shipfaggotry in the remaining episodes, not with Misty, Dawn, or Serena, and Liko being 10 while Ash is also 10. And I also feel like old man Yuyama doesn't actually give a shit about any of the ships, but also respects the various directors that have worked under him who have pushed their own ships over the seasons, that he's going to decide not to rock the boat and retain the status quo there.
