Square shinies being 1 of 16 shinies was perfect, made the square shinies REAL REAL rare.
And then...of course the coding was bad and they became 15/16 instead of 1/16, you'd think this makes "regular star shinies" the rare ones, but its reversed on phishing and eggs, so neither of them is the rare one.
It was almost perfect, and nobody seems to get it that this was the perfect fix for rarity and bragging rights.
