I continued my first nuzlocke today.
Leaving Oldale behind, I traveled to Petalburg. On the way, Alphadoge was almost killed by the last trainer and her Shroomish's Effect Spore ability. He was poisoned and arrived with only 2 HP left in the Pokémon Center. Next thing I did was buying some potions and antidotes.
Story, Wally, cutscene, yadda yadda...
Then I entered Route 104 and caught a female Taillow, my first female mon. I called her Birdgirl.
After some grinding, I'm ready to enter the Petalburg Woods now.
Regarding the rules:
I added a (soft) level cap, else I'll probably end up grinding my mons to level 20 in the woods. I'll try to stay under the next leader's highest leveled mon's level, but if I accidently end up one or two levels higher, it's not that bad.
Also, I decided not to allow recatching dead mons. So I can't catch another Wurmple and/or Silcoon.
