>>53993090I'm the guy you replied to and don't worry I won't fault you for disliking the brown NPCs. Heil Hitler, unironically. Im so fucking done with woke retardation. 90s Japan should look Japanese.
Honestly, I played an old version of CC with a patch that removed that feature and kind of forgot about it. I could go on about why it was such a bad idea and poorly implemented on top of it, but that would be off-topic. Hopefully the skin patch for the various versions is still floating around.
I bring up the mod because event-only moves breathe new life into stadium 2 despite not being a stadium 2 mod per se. I love the projects design philosophy of being a companion piece to stadium 2.
I also like picking a starting home, making up my own headcanon, and exploring an open kanto/johto without the same old story beats and with way more potential for imposed challenges. Maybe I'm a pokeautist but its the most immersive pokemania experience for me since it gives the player reasonable access to everything while still being challenging. feels like Elder Scrolls to me. And you gotta play GSC in some way in order to beat stadium, doing it with rentals would be mental.
>>53993142pre phys-special has a different feel. Espeon being able to use special bite is important for it. same goes for jolteon. etc etc Many other pokemon have very different movesets after the split. While playing you realize the old monsters and their movesets were designed around the system, once you understand it its actually not really a hindrance at all.
Gen 2 has special defense at least and is generally more polished than gen 1, but no natures or abilities to worry about which makes me like it a lot more than gen 3, Those features slow down the game's pace. Grinding a patch of grass for an adamant technician scyther drains me way too much when Im already grinding for one with hidden power bug. Plus gen 2 is kino in general, the sprite work is beautiful and it has stadium 2, go try it.
