>>34152587https://citra-emu.org/wiki/faq/ Apple always sells shit CPUs more expensively in order to rip people off (the costs are about three times as much for EXACTLY THE SAME PROCESSOR as a windows computer) and also if you have a gaming computer processor you can expect the battery to run out very quickly. So it's a tossup between having your battery last and having a computer useless for emulation.
Citra can only use one core currently (or very low CPU usage equivalent to one core, judging by performance monitor). Come back in a few years and Citra will likely be faster. And no, I don't think that running Citra in a mac environment will cripple the sperd, crippled speed is due to bad single core performance.
