Sprout Tower is ours. As our inside source indicated, their forces were almost entirely composed of Bellsprout, easy prey for my Zubat. The Elder and his second in command proved more troublesome - they had a Hoothoot each. Probably how they were able to maintain their dominance over the other sages. If it hadn't been for my Rattata, the mission might have failed.
Regardless, the Elder retired out of shame at his defeat, and as planned, our agent was able to secure his position. Sprout Tower will serve as our equivalent of Nugget Bridge - separating weak trainers from their money and recruiting strong ones. The other Sages are none the wiser that their sacred tower now serves us.
My next target is the Violet City Gym. Falkner's strong enough to be a threat to our plans. If I can cripple his Pokemon first, it'll buy us the time we need. My team isn't strong enough yet, it'll take a day of training or so to prepare for the upcoming battle.
