>>29299735Ah, yes, comparing a Pokemon to a normal animal. That's indeed the thought process of those who don't understand shit at all about Pokemon.
Anon, dear, Pokemon are monsters. They aren't normal animals. They also aren't just simple dumb creatures as well. This should be obvious by now, but clearly it isn't.
We are dealing with a monster with the physical appearance of a cat. A creature that is part of a group of monsters is capable of going through a metamorphosis into a different form, often times completely different and alien from the form they previously had.
Would I want my simple houscat to transform into a buff thing and still have the intelligence of a normal animal? No
Would I want my trusty monster friend and companion to transform into a huge buff thing that has intelligence AT LEAST on par with a young human who could share in many activities and help around the house with their newfound strength/ Becoming an even greater and amazing friend in the process? Yes
Pokemon are monsters. They aren't animals. Comparing them just to real world animals is ignorant and lacks common sense and critical thinking. Do try to understand this. Unless this is your first Pokemon game, this should all be very obvious.
