Misfortune tore her away from this convenience and brought her to a strange part of the world where the ubiquitous device isn't around. On chapter 8, if you count the prologue, it's about 50k words so far. Been posting Erika since one of the main characters, a thief who is partnered with a crafty Sneasel, looks like her and another, a lady-like flower girl with a pretentious Roselia, acts like her. Although the initial premise deals with the dark, underground nature of crime, it is blossoming into an adventure.
Protector's final chapter and epilogue I'm reviewing as well. Quite a lot of wordage to still work through. Should be posting soon™.
Overall what I'm working on: improving my writing style and my ability to craft a meaningful story. Looking back at where I started out is always a humbling experience. All I can really do is strive to improve. Sincerely hope I have.
