You walk through the port and feel the sea breeze on your face, full of opportunity. Waves gently lap the shore behind you, and hoothoots hoot in the forested cliffs bordering the city ahead. Olivine city is a relatively large and populous city, thriving on trade and an emerging tourist industry, and many boats, personal and corporate, fill the harbour. Since it's near midnight however, the city seems calm and only a few sailors and emerging tourists wander the cobblestone streets, dimly lit by street lamps. It seems a homely and quiet place, but there are signs of developing industry.
Colourful expanses of houses and flags stretch out before you. You realise you have no money for an inn. There is a lot of battling potential here, with the bright lighthouse to the east of you and the steel-type gym somewhere up ahead. Despite your ambitions, you realise you're exhausted from potion drinking and think it best you find somewhere to crash. Vicious hops down from your shoulder and eagerly walks beside you.
