While the Gen 5 and 7 stories are fine, my favorite Pokemon stories are Platinum and HGSS. I love the lower stakes and less interconnected Johto story, and I just like what happened in Sinnoh.
The personality in Alola saves it, because judging purely the overworld, I would not have liked it as a region.
Also Trials weren't that good.
Hoenn really does have took much water.
My fav method of EV training is Join Avenue.
One positive I can give ORAS is being one of the best games for training and leveling up Pokemon.
I don't like how the Ace Trainers look in Kalos or Alola.
