It will always just deflect or break the ball, the only way to capture them would be to cause them to faint or befriend them and have them willingly join you.
>>44683549That'd be annoying, I'd like more involved capture methods though. Most Pokemon would be too strong to just throw a ball at and capture. This has been shown so many times in the show, like Pikachu's just bouncing balls back with their tails. Imagine something like this
