By making it so that the claws and belly pattern are the same shade of magenta, the red eyes that shade of magenta as well, and getting rid of the light blue on its belly completely, you remove of a lot of redundant or superfluous color choices. The design looks a lot more cohesive when Gabumon is working with only 4 colors as opposed to 7.
