>>36538807I decided to retire Spaceballs from the team since I needed something with Fly and legends are for scrubs anyway (please ignore the two legends on my winning Crystal team). Amber the Adamant Aerodactyl is its replacement. I failed to catch a Latios and Voltorb due to Memento/Selfdestruct shenanigans respectively (why did I waste my Master Ball on a Ho-Oh?) and nearly had a heart attack when a wild Clefable Metronomed Fissure, until I realized it wouldn't hit anyway because of its level. Please don't scare me like that game.
Magma and Aqua were disappointingly easy, Tate and Liza were... not difficult, just tedious. Their Registeel refused to die (and I forgot it had Zap Cannon, thank fuck its Special Attack is ass or Tree Fiddy would be a goner), I had to tiptoe around their Biding Shuckle, and they kept spamming Hyper Potions. Yawn. At least the upcoming Maxie battle should be exciting if my last attempt is anything to go on.
