Gladius was the complete tank of this chapter. All of Plasma's dark types fell before his fists. Kyurem was smashed by his shining red gloves. His elemental punches have been a godsend ever since I started training him up back at Flocessy Ranch all those gyms ago. More than anyone else this run, Gladius has been my one true bro, that one Pokemon that I could always count on to be ready for any challenge that was thrown at him.
Gordo, too, has been fantastic. His stockpiling let him tank against foes much stronger than himself. No matter the foe, Gordo could be counted on to go out and absorb some hits while whittling down the opponent.
Now, my team is a shadow of its former self. A long, grinding road lies ahead for these 4 who have seen death before their eyes many times. They've lost friends and comrades, whose death's will be avenged in the blood of the Elite Four.
