>>38441691So now I've got my team just about leveled up to where I wanted them, kitted out with appropriate items and moves, just on the verge of challenging the League. And... I still am not liking my chances. I feel like I should grind even further, but I don't know if that's just paranoia talking or something. Regardless, this is the team I have that I'll be taking into the ring with me.
Picard is set up primarily to take on Bertha and Flint's team. Of course I have to be careful - just about everything of Bertha's has Earthquake or some hard hitting ground-move. My hope is that Picard's bulk and defense will help to keep him in even after taking the worst. Similarly Flint's Infernape has coverage with both Mach Punch and Earthquake. If he manages to make it to Cynthia, I'll try to save him for Garchomp with Blizzard, though he's got Gastrodon covered with Grass Knot. Riker as any good XO is there to provide support for his captain and crew, so he'll be dealing with the odd threats here and there, mainly against Lucian and Cynthia's Milotic. Sela hits pretty hard against just about anything, but she's got Aaron pretty thoroughly covered. Will likely lead in with her against Cynthia's Spiritomb and try take it out fast. B'Elanna is pretty similar but can actually take a hit here and there so she'll be on switches to provide support against odd threats here and there - like with Maylene's, she's got Cyn's Lucario dead to rights. Pulaski will help back-up Picard when dealing with Flint and Garchomp. And Tomalak's primary mission will be to decimate Lucian's team.
