>>53202143Unpopular opinion, I think that this mini series would have been a good opportunity to give closure to all of Ash's pokemon, some being released to continue their life cycle as butterfree, some choosing to stay as protectors of their native home, some inspired by others like Squirtle or Charizard becoming part of a human or pokemon community,others choosing to follow a different trainer to follow their dream like Ambipom and Primate, in the end staying with Ash those who want to continue by his side as his champion team.
Which would be an interesting question, if Pikachu is by default, what would be the five pokemon that would stay as his official team in a game where Ash was a final boss?
