You need them in your party in specific order, 6 different words per evolution - each word boosts a specific stat, and teaches a move upon evolving that isn't available to other words. The rest of move table stays the same. Can be evolved at any level, keeps the level/nature/IV/EV etc. of the Unown leading the party at the time.
