They could've at least added a battling feature or something. Maybe restricted to 3 on 3 and singles. I would even be fine if they implemented something similar to PokePelago or even an extension of PokeJobs to give our mons something to do while in HOME. Or maybe give us an otion to customize our boxes ala Secret Bases.
I know essentially leaving your mons in boxes to collect dust is something everyone is guilty of, but back then GF were limited and it wasn't something that needed development. But just letting my bros rot in HOME with nothing to do besides the possibility of getting traded, doesn't feel right nor is it really enticing pitch for a potential customer.
