But even if - Personally I don't hate grinding in games like at all? But then, modern "gaming" is all about being loud and hyped as fuck and I'm just kind of oldfag that enjoys playing in silence and comfy relaxing while listening to music on side. Also, it's kind of important element of jrpg gameplay loop - you grind, you git gud enough to walk past another challenge (be it dungeon, boss fight or whatever), you get to new place where you can obtain new resources (items, Pokemon etc) you rinse and repeat.
