I'm not even shitposting here. I'm just expressing my actual opinion on this.
In every other gen, I can at least find one or two likable starters. But sinnoh just has Nothing for me.

Just plain ugly and fat. The way the blue parts unnaturally bisect its body. The dumb looking trident beak. The frilly white bib on his stomach. So many terrible design choices, easily the worst looking sinnoh starter.

Slow generic turtle. Just putting a tree and rocks on a turtle's back doesn't make its design anything special. It's like the designers decided to be extra lazy and phone it in.

The only half decent one. Pretty much the only starter I bother to pick when I play sinnoh games. Even if the red swollen forehead thingie is nasty to look at.
