Just swap to dark grey, since that's a kind of smokey colour, or brown to blend in with the rocks.
Flame Body would be a decent ability btw.
Not sure about it keeping the Water typing though, I know people really want 'Steam' pokemon, but in octillery's case the water would make its 'pipes' too damp to spew fire. Plus Vulpix dropped fire to become ice.
(P.S. had to dig through a ton of Skylanders shit to find that image.)
