then the little fucker got V-Create and Fusion Bolt and shit was great. Victini and Darmanitan basically became Bash bros, tag-teaming every double battle they came across and laid waste to a Romhack-Hard Unova.
Fought Cheren right before Victory Road. I realized I couldn't OHK Gigalith due to Sturdy, so I planned to switch to my Darmanitan thinking he could take a hit, then dish it back out in kind as he always did.
Explosion. Normal Gem. Crit. that could have been my Victini. Darmanitan: A Guardian to the little guy til the brutal end.
the team busted through the Elite Four...and Victini, with help from an Excadrill who survived things he fankly should not have survived on multiple occasions, took down N's Reshiram.
Proudest I've ever been for a pokemon.
and now my buddy, the pokemon I've always considered the Pikachu to my Ash. turned to dust in an instant.
