>>55257308The fossils are screwed over needlessly so much, the one instance were Pokemon should be min-maxed and they aren't, Archeops is stuck with a horribly crippling ability, Aurorus has a terrible defensive typing and yet it was made into a slow, relatively bulky Pokemon, Kabutops didn't get Sharpness as an ability, Cradily is based on an animal who's modern relatives are known to have incredibly potent regenerative abilities yet it doesn't have Regenerator, Armaldo is held back by an awful speed stat and abilities that fail miserably at complementing it in any way, I could continue, but the point is it's just depressing being someone who loves the fossils and likes Rock types in general.
