>>38927088>I'll believe it when I see it. Right now, that's not correct.Fair enough. I'm confident it'll happen.
>>38927108I'm skeptical of this shit in general. No game dev would put that much effort into making those animations only to never use them unless something was strictly prohibiting them from doing so.
>>38927115And what does that have to do with the work it takes to make everything else you absolute retard?
Stadium games took place in 1 area, had a pitiful number of Pokemon making it easy to allocate time to animate them and there were far less moves to animate too.
Comparing them to the effort and work it takes to make a full game is laughable.
>>38927123>GladyShofu is basically the only person who has a decent number of people like his post (his fans will obviously like any shit he posts though) and even then that only hit 800 likes.
The other tweets you posted had 3-10 likes and 1 was by some aussie tranny.
Come on now. Hardly widespread outcry.
>So basically the bare minimum of each new generation?Correct. I've had too many game series I like deviate from what made them good in the first place and I don't want to see the same thing happen to Pokemon.
I like the games, I like the annual releases.
>Good for you, you have low standards.Maybe so but apparently I'm in the majority because everybody else doesn't seem to nitpick these minor problems or let them get in the way of their enjoyment of the games.
>So the pokemon designs themselves not the models?Yes, there were no models before 3D (outside of some spinoffs like the stadium games), only sprites. Sprites enabled more Pokemon designs to get in just on the fact that they didn't need animating. Animating takes up an absurd amount of time.
