I'm convinced these developers don't actually play their own game deeply enough to understand what's fun about it. It's a single player game that incentivizes you to build fun combinations of teams with Pokémon that you may not normally use, with a little bit more emphasis on collecting really interesting combinations of broken movesets or abilities on both popular and shitty Pokémon. I don't see how they don't understand that that is the appeal, but it's clear by some of the changes they've made they don't get that 100%
>they nerfed your ability to steamroll every 10 waves in endless by resetting the biome every couple waves
>they keep changing the passives and egg moves for pretty much everything
>rich keep getting richer with these changes, with the popular viable Pokémon just getting even better and shitmons still begging for scraps
>all of the move and ability changes seem optimized for very specific play styles rather than giving us more fluidity in how we choose to play
>they still haven't fixed the ability to teach moves to Pokémon who have gone past their last natural level up move
>TMs, Mega Stones, and both kinds of mushrooms are still completely scattershot and you can go an entire classic run without getting anything interesting
>good luck finding hidden abilities because there's still a shitty chance you're going to come across any of them unless you're deep in endless
Still it's a free game and I can't stop playing, 10 out of 10 but I hope they fix some of these things
