Everything goes to another company and Masuda checks the progress from time to time, yeah the same man that says that mainline Pokemon games are a waste because kids now spend time on the cellphone.
You are lucky if a random company takes the IP and really push it forward like RETRO studios did for METROID.
So no hopes for me.
