X&Y up to the 3rd gym was fucking Kino. Then you can tell development schedules caught up to them and Game Freak half-assed the entire rest of the game.
I had fun my first playthrough of Sun but I have no desire to ever go back and replay it which I think is terrible for a Pokemon game to make me think.

Anyone else having trouble navigating to Pokemon? Everything is 3 steps away from me, no matter what. The close Pokemon are of course in the first slot, but no matter what direction I go the steps stay at 3 and the Pokemon just jumps around or disappears.

I thought maybe I was just being retarded and not going the right way, until a Tauros that was 3 steps away appeared in front of me. It hadn't changed at all before then so I was really confused.

Also, can anyone confirm that we can't see other people's nicknames anymore? I wasn't sure until my co-worker sent me a screenshot of my Arcacine at a gym, and it just showed "Arcanine" instead of its nickname.
