>>40477030I remember when I played Ruby for the first time as a kid. Had the prima guide at the time and I was determined to catch every pokémon in the game. When I got to Granite Cave though, I couldn't find geodude at all. I called my dad over and we spent the next two hours sitting down in the room together, taking turns running around Granite Cave just to find a geodude. We were so bored and tired, but when we finally found one, our eyes lit up and we both shouted "GEODUDE!!!" as loud as we could. It's honestly hard to accurately tell you just how happy we were, but it's still one of the fondest memories we share, and we always bring it up whenever one of us sees a geodude.
