Are all 10 year olds this fucking retarded? He never even TRIES to train it, he just whips it out the second he comes up against a strong opponent. After jobbing at the Indigo League why didn't he box this insolent creature or spend time with the Professor learning how to command respect? Is he stupid? Is he actually fucking stupid? People complain about Misty being a bitch, but if I were in her shoes I'd be beating Ash with a stick every day. What was Shudou thinking? He literally, LITERALLY never EVER trains, he just walks around and picks fights like an NPC. I get that the point was to make him suffer for his stubbornness and inexperience, don't expect to achieve your dreams, the real getto da ze was the friends we made along the way, etc, but did they really have to spread it out for so long? 101 episodes in and he's still just assuming that THIS time, Charizard will have arbitrarily decided to listen to me! He travelled for most of those episodes with TWO GYM LEADERS and they don't appear to have taught him ANYTHING. I hate him. Damn brat. He needs training correction. He has the most OP support network imaginable and he does NOTHING with it. Half the best trainers in Kanto owe him their lives.
