>>38573751I think that it's generally the alolan raichu that shits on some people. It's the first third stage Pokemon you face that isn't a level 10ish butterfree, and there's a level jump at the start of the third island. On top of that. it has near perfect evs, and it out speeds most of Aslowla.

I liked this battle personally. It certainly isn't unbeatable. You didn't have any problems for example. However, it can slap someones shit if they're unprepared or if their team can't really deal with it. Imo more rivals need to have battles like this.
Especially with how Hau will just walk away smiling if he wins leaving you with the option to reset or just take it like a bitch.
